December is a month that makes us remember the year that went by and also promises new dreams with the New year just around the corner.
I know you all will be very busy wrapping up this year and welcoming 2015 with new resolutions, targets, goals etc etc.
Let me be the first to wish you all!

Now as with our tradition, let us start with announcements for this month.
1. New series:
This might come as a surprise to many! In a way it's a (sweet) surprise to me too.
Vinodha aka Bindu is all set to start (or share) her next story "Un aaasai mugam thedi". If you are a regular chillzee visitor, then there is a very good chance that you have already heard this name.
Yes, yes, its the same UAMT! It's a CHILLZEE SPECIAL treat for the New Yaer!!!
First episode will be published later today.

2. Writer selected chillzion award:
And here's the announcement for our third 'Writer selected chillzion award'!
Our secret writer for the month of November was Vinodha. And she has selected Jansi as the winner for this month.

The selection is very difficult than how it actually looks :-) . Since I was strictly asked to select one, I had to hand pick some one who haven't received the award yet.
But still it was a tough task to select one person among those three remaining contenders!
After 'pichufaiying' my hair fora while, I selected Jansi for her crisp comments with the pinch of encouragement / support always.
Congrats again Jansi!

3. Plagiarism
Plagiarism (copying content without permission) is one of the main problems that many websites are facing right now!
We strive hard not to publish any copied content @ Chillzee and we also provide our maximum support to our writers to safeguard their copyright content.
In the recent past one of our writers pointed to us a site where few Chillzee stories were published under different titles and with different author names. We followed up with the site and got the content removed quickly.
I believe our other authors (Vathsala, Swetha & Meera) were not even aware of this.
Ofcourse we didn't want to brag about that this too 
.
But I am bringing up the topic here because recently in the same site, one of our site's new story was published under a different name and author. Again when we contacted the site admin, they removed the content pretty quick!
Based on our experience with multiple site administrators, I should say, the response is quite positive. If we know that the content is published, we can help. But the problem is identifying the plagiarism!
At Chillzee we give lot of freedom to our writers. The only restriction that we have is that the content shouldn't be already published in any other sites and shouldn't be published in parallel in other sites while publishing at Chillzee.
So far we have given exceptions only for couple of stories.
So if you get a chance to see Chillzee story published anywhere else in the internet, you can safely assume that its plagiarism.
I request you all to let us know if you come across any such site, so that we can support our writers by helping them to protect their content.
