Chillzee Recipes - Chilli Corn spring - Priya Pradeep
Ingredients
Boiled corn Kernels – 1 cup.
Spring onion leaves – ¼ cup.
Onion - 1 Medium size
Tomato – 1 Medium Size.
Green Chili – 2
Turmeric powder- a pinch
Salt – as required
Chili powder – 1tbsp.
Ginger garlic paste – 1tbsp
Chili sauce- 1tbsp
Tomato Sauce – ½ tbsp.
Mustard – ¼ tbsp.
Butter –as required
Curry Leaves, Coriander Leaves- for garnishing
Procedure
- Heat the pan and add butter. Once it melts add mustard.
- Once it crackles and finely chopped onions and saute until it becomes translucent.
- Add ginger garlic paste and curry leaves, sauté until the raw smell is gone.
- Add finely chopped tomatoes and tomato sauce and sauté well.
- Add green chili and chili sauce.
- Once the base blends well, add chopped spring onion leaves and cook for two minutes.
- Now add chili powder, salt (as per taste) and turmeric powder and add corn.
- Add ¼ cup water and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot with Rice/Chapatti.
