Dates is very rich in Vitamin A. One ounce of dates contains

Vitamin A - 170 milligrams

Vitamin B1 - 26 milligrams

Vitamin B2 - 9 milligrams

Iron - 30 milligrams

Calcium - 20 milligrams

So it is obvious that it has numerous health benefits.

Benefits of eating Dates:

1. Helps in Muscle Growth

2. Helps to improve body strength

3. Helps to increase blood flow and hence very good for anemic patients.

4. Diabetes patients can replace sugar with dates

5. TB patients can eat dates to gain back strength. 

So try to include 1-5 dates in your day-to-day food and live healthy.
