  • Got a chance to read Island of flowers written by Nora Roberts. It's a great romantic story...

    The plot:
Laine Simmons travels to Hawaii from France to reconcile with her long-estranged father. But his young business partner, Dillon O'Brian believes that Laine is only after her father's money. Laine was not aware that her father has been sending her money regularly which has been misused by her mother all along. She tries hard to make Dillon understand that she just needs her father's love and not his money. But is it really easy to make a man believe someone whom he mistrusts?

So has anyone else read this story?

Shyam again meets the girl two or three times and during one of the meeting finds out that her name is Mrs.Sumathi ganesan :) He is obviously shell shocked... he also finds that she has a daughter :)
Going with tradition, he tries hard to forget his dream girl who is already married... But his heart denies to accept the commands from his brain.. So he decides to go ahead and marry the girl of his parents choice. But still even after the engagement, Shyam is not able to forget his dream girl...

The rest of the story is about what happened to Shyam's love :)

  • One more story in this category. It's Amuthavalli Kalyanasundaram's "Anbenum Mazhaiyil"

Jeeva Rekha has a young daughter named Priya. She is a widow. Her affectionate husband Rajeev lost his life in a terrorist attack.

Vijayaragavan, a popular doctor has a son named Rahul. His wife Priyadarshini has died during her child delivery.

Vijay adores his wife very much that though his mother urges him to re-marry, he doesn't change his mind.. His sister Samyuktha and her husband Prithvi also try to change his mind so that his son can get a mother. But of no use...

Priya and Rahul attends the same school and become friends. Jeeva and Vijay also get to know each other through their kids. As they slowly start to know more about each other, they also shower affection on each other's kid knowing about their loss.

Vijay and Jeeva starts developing affection for each other. Vijay and Jeeva get a chance to see a video recorded by Rajeev just before his death. Vijay is shell shocked to know that Rajeev is against Jeeva marrying another person after his death.

So what happened to their budding affection, forms the rest of the story...

  • This time it's a novel named "Aasai mugam maranthidumo"by Uthayakala.

Sujitha lives with her 2.5 years old son Santhosh in Chennai. She works as a secretary in a company which is acquired by another company owned by Arvindhan. Sujitha is shocked when she meets Aravindhan in her office. He is her husband and she had fled Madurai just to stay away from him.
But surprisingly (or shockingly) Aravindhan doesn't show any signs of remembering her. Sujitha is heart broken but decides to continue with the same job for various reasons...
Her sincerity, talent, character and soft nature attracts Aravindhan and he shows special interest towards her but ofcourse he doesn't show any trace of remembering or even knowing her before... Slowly he starts loving her...
Meanwhile Aravindhan's mother Mangalam visits him and Sujitha gets a chance to meet her in the office. Both of them are shocked. Mangalam asks Sujitha to quit her job and go away from her son reminding her of the promise that she made three years back. Sujitha tries to explain the reason for staying in the job but it's of no use...
Mangalam and her brother decide to take the matter in their own hands to get rid of Sujitha from Aravindhan's life...

So what happened to Sujitha? And why Aravindhan can't remember Sujitha? Why are they staying away from each other...

Read the story to find it yourself :) www.chillzee.in/books-menu/online-tamil-...i-mugam-maranthisuma

Though the plot slightly reminds a Danielle Steel story, it's really a different one from the normal romantic stories.
