67 out of 350 players were bought by the IPL franchisee in the IPL auction conducted in Bangalore.
Costly buys:
Yuvraj once again tops the list. He was bought by the Delhi franchise or a whopping 16 crores.
Dinesh Karthik also stays in the elite top list after being bought by the Bangalore franchise for 10.5 crores.
Angelo Mathews (Delhi) - 7.5 crores, Zaheer Khan (Delhi) - 4 crores and Kiwi bowler Boult (Hyderabad) - 3.8 crores are the other costly buys.
Costly buys with respect to base price:
Amit Mishra was sold to Delhi for 3.5 crores from his base price of 10 lakhs. That's 3400% rise from the base price. Lucky Amit!
Shreyas iyer the dashing Mumbai batsman was bought by Delhi for 2.6 crores from his base price of 10 lakhs. And that's 2500% increase. Lucky lad.
Uncapped bowler Cariappa was bought by Kolkatta for 2.4 crores from his base price of 10 lakhs! That's 2300% increase in price.
All rounder David Wiese was bought by Bangalore for 2.8 crores from a base price of 30 lakhs. It's 833% hike from the base price.
Yuvraj makes it to this list with a difference of 700% from his base price of 2 crores.
Boult (Hyderabad) - 660%, Dominic Joseph (Delhi) - 650%, Murali Vijay (Punjab) - 500%, Gurindher Sandhu (Delhi) - 467% and Dinesh Karthik (Bangalore) - 425% are the otehr notable people in the list.

Kevin Pietersen was bought for his base price of 2 crores by the Hyderabad franchise.
Chennai bagged Irfan Pathan for his base price of 1.5 crores.
Hyderabad bought England skipper Eoin Morgan for his base price of 1.5 crores.
Hyderabad also bought Ravi Bopara for his base price of 1 crore.
As rumored, teh 40 year old Aussie veteran Hogg was bagged by Kolkatta for his base price of 50 lakhs.
