“Hi Lalitha I am Sujith… shall we go now?” – he was standing in front of me with cute smiling face. As he smiles his cheeks were becoming reddish. Wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. What a handsome guy…. I was sure he is north Indian. He dressed to kill and more than that his manly look and that stubble beard. He was soooo cool even in this summer. I could not able to take away my eyes from him. I forgot to breathe for few seconds. I lost my train of thought. I forgot my bus travel and I forgot my anger. Even I forgot why I was standing there and why I went there. I was on top of this world and felt like I was on cloud nine being in seventh heaven. I still didn’t answer his question. My mind started functioning after his gesture questioned at me.

“Shall we go?” – he asked again as he was waiting for my ans.
“You even won’t ask sorry for your late coming… I was waiting here for more than 1hr.” – I answered not to show my anger but to hide my feelings toward him with pretended angry look face.
“Have you attended interview previously? Even some have waited for the whole day.” – he said easily with cool attitude. Is that mean he didn’t want to be good to me?
“What does that mean? To give this job you are supposed to treat us like this way? Remember that you may come to my place at any time.”
Now only he noticed that I was fully exhausted and I could not even able to stand. My eyes were not bright. He saw blue in my face. I was on my last legs. I was totally wrecked…
“No... I didn’t mean that. Sorry anyway. Just take a chill pill. You would have at least asked them one chair to sit... Do you need anything now? Water?” – he asked with the little bit of care which I loved to the core.
“Yeah. But not water. I’m starving. I have no strength to attend the interview right now.”
“Ok come on… you have your lunch in café. Then come to EB4 102 ODC. Ok?”
“Not ok… I don’t know where the cafe is … I may need access in some places and by the way I waited for you more than an hour… can’t you spend 15 mins for me?” – I know it’s weird but I didn’t care about interview that time. I wanted to make sure that I should not miss that day. Was telling myself that “I will make some other interview successfully… It will be my day. I am not going to miss this at any cost.”
He was thinking for few seconds. He looked at me after he sent message to someone from his mobile. “Ok let’s go…”
He was going in front… I just followed him without speaking anything. “Lali-suji wow wat a match… But he is too height. That’s okay. I have seen many post in fb saying all tall guys need one short girl to complete him.”- I was consoling myself. “but I should be in control. He should not even get a clue about my thoughts.”- Was telling myself. like this many things were fighting between my mind and heart.
When I lifted my face to see him he was going in a rabbit speed. I said “Hold your horses! Please!”
“Ok.” He stood there. I ran to reach him and he started our conversation.
“From where you are coming?” “Madipakkam…” “How many hr it took?” “1.15 hr.”
“You didn’t have breakfast?” “no.” “how can you come like this?” – silent was my ans.
“Wherever you go next have your food and go... interview will take full day some times. Got it?”
“Sure. Are you an interviewer?”
“Yeah why...”
“If you are not, someone else may be waiting for us la. I don’t want to be like you making others to wait for this much hours.”
“shut your yap! As soon as I got a call from Prakash to escort you I started from my bay. He was in meeting and so he only informed me later. You got it?”
“Oh god I spoke too much… I even dissed him without knowing this. why I did that. In what rights I told him like that. I came here for interview. But I am fighting with him. What am I exactly doing? Did I make his blood boil?” – was scolding myself and walking without telling anything.
“Can’t you even ask sorry when mistake is not mine?” – he asked and winked at me.
I gave a surprise look and did not know how to react… so just said “sorry.”
“Hey that’s ok. Was just kidding you. By seeing you itself I can understand that you are very tired. That’s not a problem leave it...Have you brought lunch or gonna order something?”- we were entering café.
“I need to order. But better I will go for juice because I can’t stand in this long queue.”
“No interview will take full day so better you have a meal. I will get for you… you sit here.” – he simply left without expecting my response.
