Grace and Jess stood quiet.
“Grace, Jess, what happened to your good manners? Say hello to uncle Petrrey” urged Racheal.
“Hello uncle Petrrey” said the kids in a chorus.
“Hello kids!” said Mr. Petrrey and again winked at them secretively.
Grace and Jess looked at each other doubtfully.
Meanwhile, Mr. Petrrey said, “Mrs Sharpe, it’s getting late. I think you better go and get ready to visit the hospital. I will stay here with your kids. Once things are in place call me and I will find a good nanny to take care of them”
“That’s very kind of you Mr. Petrrey. I don’t know how I could ever repay you for your kindness” stammered Racheal.
“No, No madame. You don’t think about repaying or anything. Let us hope that Mr Sharpe gets well soon”
“Yes, you are correct Mr. Petrrey” accepted Racheal.
“OK kids, I am going to hospital now. Please be good! I will call you from the hospital once I get a chance to talk to the doctor” said Racheal.
Jess hugged his mom while Grace hugged her brother.
“Now, now, come on little miss and master. Let your mom go to the hospital. Don’t worry about her” said Mr. Petrrey
Grace and Jess waved goodbye to their mother.
“Good bye kids. See you soon” said Racheal.
She had no idea about the adventure her kids are about to undertake during her stay at the hospital.
