Though Seetha was very much interested in investing in ‘Fabulous boutique’, both Thulasi and Uma insisted that she discusses this with her son before coming to a final conclusion. Seetha accepted to do that just for the sake of her younger friends. So the same day after dinner, she told her son that she wants to talk to him about something important. Dinakaran never hesitated to spend time with his mother, so he readily accepted it.
Both mother and son sat down on a comfortable sofa relaxingly. Seetha told Dinakaran about her plan for investing in the boutique. As expected Dinakaran was not amused by that idea,
"Boutique????"

"Yes..."

"But, why a boutique??? You can invest in my company or any other good stocks..."

"Dinu, have I ever interfered in your company matters... This is something that I like..."

"But mom, why a boutique???"

"Because I like the owners of the boutique..."

"Mummy... Come on... You can’t invest your money just because..."

"Dinu, you started with computer hardware’s, then electrical, electronic items and now I hear that your company has acquired a huge hotel chain..."

"Yes that’s true... You know mom I got it for such a layoff price... They have no idea what a gold mine their hotels are..."

"Hmmm... If you take this type of decision, that’s fantastic but if I take a simple decision to invest in my friend’s small business..."

"Friends????"

"Yes, friends" said Seetha stressing on the word FRIENDS.

Dinakaran looked at his mother keenly,
"So may I know who these friends are???"

"Oh yes, sure... You have met them too... Sometime back, I forgot my cash in an auto..."

"Oh Mom! You are kidding.... don’t tell me you are investing in that boutique..."

"Yes I am..."

"So, she has finally brainwashed you..."

"Dinu, what do you know about Uma or Thulasi??? Have you ever visited their boutique?"

"I can read people just by looking at them..."

"Oh really!!! But then others can do the same, you know..."

"????"

"Now I understand why Thulasi and Uma insisted on getting your approval for this investment..."

"mmm..."

"You know, I told them that this is my money and I can invest it as per my wish but still they insisted that I discuss it with you and come to the final decision... And also for your information, though I told them that I am not interested in sharing the profit, they have forced me accept equal... you heard it right, equal profit share along with them, though I am going to be just a sleeping partner..."

Dinakar was a bit surprised by what he heard!

"Dinu, you need to understand something. Everyone is not doing business just for money! These two girls have so many issues; they started this boutique to help their family, now since they have reached a stage where they can think about expanding it to make their dreams come true! I am just trying to help them... What do you do with all those money if it’s just sitting ideally in the bank? Anyways as I said I am going to get profit share also, so that should make you happy... Now you will not have any issues right????" saying that Seetha got up and left the place angrily.

"Mom!!!" cried Dinakaran surprised by his mother’s reaction.

Next day morning when Dinakaran met Seetha, he said,
"Ok mom, I don’t want to stop you from doing anything that you like, but I just want you to involve me in all finance related stuff..."

"Ok sure..." said a beaming Seetha.

Dinakaran was so very surprised to see his mother so very happy!
