REVIEWS - Even If We Break - Marieke Nijkamp
Genre - Young adult – Suspense / Thriller
Summary:
Five friends decide to spend a night together in a cabin in the woods.
Their friendship is falling apart and hence they decide to play a role-playing game for one final time before their friendship comes to an end.
The friends all seem to be hiding secrets from each other. And as the night goes on, the secrets are slowly revealed one by one accompanied by horrific events.
Review:
The story plot is very interesting. As we start reading through the pages, suspense grip us and keep us glued.
On the flip side, we never feel connected to any of the characters. This makes it difficult to appreciate the twists in the story.
Overall, a good read for suspense lovers.
