If we look into some sites regarding the types of interviews it gives various results but at the same time it may create little confusion. Each and every company will conduct different kinds of interview. The kinds of interview depends upon the number of candidates appearing for the interview. It also depends upon the company and also the job position. So now let's discuss about few general types if interview which commonly happens.

1. Screening or Telephonic Interview

Telephonic interview is an effective of screening the candidates. By the help of this kind of interview very poor profile candidates can be filtered easily. This kind of interview helps the company persons to get a clear idea about your English fluency as well as easy to analyze your telephonic manners. Once they are okay with your pronunciation and your vocabulary as well as your manners over telephone they will give a call for your next kind of interview. The only thing you have to do is to be well prepared for the anytime call from the company where you applied. Feel free while you attend the call, be casual and be humble and also give a clear reply to the concern person. Be sure that you are in a comfort place when you attend the call. If you are in a crowded place inform them about your situation.

2. Written Test

It is also a kind of interview. Few companies will conduct written test. For example if it is a call center where English is must they will give a grammatical written test. The company will be in need of a person good in written communication too. If it is Software Company they will give a written test for program coding and also aptitude test will also be conducted in the written format. By this kind of written test so many unfit candidates will be filtered and the rest will be selected for the next round.

3. Group interview or group discussion

In this type of interview a single person will conduct interview for a group of people. This is also an easy way to filter out the unfit candidates. Here a topic will be given for the group and the candidate need to discuss about it. On the spot topic will be provided. This will help the company person to identify the persons who are sharp about the general things and also who have the capability to talk I front of many people without any fear.

4. Panel Interview

In this kind of interview single person will be interviewed by a group of panel members. Anyone will fire out a question and you should be ready to answer all their questions. Here your problem solving skill will be noticed.

5. Face to face Interview

It is also called one to one interview. Here only a single person will interview you. Mostly the particular person will be the HR Manager of the company. Almost by this interview they may come to a conclusion about hiring you. Here not only the depth of the knowledge about the subject you have will be assessed your behavior will also be checked.  The way how you answer and how you seated and what your legs and hand doing will be assessed. So just check how to dress up for the interview and prepare yourself before entering the interview hall.

6. Stress Interview

In this interview your patience will be checked. They may ask you to wait for a long time outside the interview hall. By this time you should not show any of your facial expressions if you are angry. Just have a small smile. By this they will check you how you tackle the problem with the customers politely.

These are the normal types of interview which are used common by the company persons.
