Beauty Secrets Series - Natural care for Dandruff- Part 8
As per Wikipedia, Dandruff is the shedding of dead skin cells from the scalp. As skin cells die, a small amount of flaking is normal. But some people experience unusual large amount of flaking.
Dandruff solutions:
Aloe Vera gel
- Aloe Vera gel is a good solution to remove dandruff.
- Apply the gel all over the head.
- Let it set for about 5 minutes, shampoo, and rinse.
Coconut oil and camphor:
- Heat 3 to 4 tablespoon of coconut oil
- Add one piece of camphor to the hot oil and mix it well
- When the oil becomes lukewarm, massage it on the scalp. Preferably apply it during bedtime and leave it for whole night.
- Rinse in the morning.
Fenugreek seeds:
- Soak 2 tablespoon of fenugreek seeds in water overnight
- Use a blender / mixie and make it into a fine paste.
- Apply the paste on the scalp
- Rinse it off after few minutes.
Lemon
- Apply lemon juice on your scalp.
- Leave it for 15 minutes
- Rinse with normal water.
Egg & Lemon juice
- Separate Egg white from 2 eggs.
- Mix four tablespoon of lemon juice with the egg whites.
- Apply the mixture on the scalp and leave it for half-an-hour
- If available, Squash handful of Margosa leaves (Arasamara ilai) and add it to half liter water. Mix it well
- Wash the hair first with the Margosa leaves water and then with normal water.
