Health Tip # 48 - Step by step procedure for preparing your own Aloe vera oil - Kiruthika
Chop one big leaf from Aloe Vera plant.
Filet the top layer of Aloe Vera leaf like you would a fish.
Spread a handful of fenugreek or methi seeds on the clear gel - like substance called Aloe gel.
Let it stand for 2-3 days so that the fenugreek seeds sprout with the help of Aloe gel medium. Dry 2 handfuls of curry leaves along with this.
Place a heavy bottomed vessel on the stove and pour 1 liter coconut oil.
Add the chopped Aloe Vera pieces along with the sprouted Fenugreek seeds and dried curry leaves to the coconut oil in the hot vessel.
Turn up the heat for anytime between 20 - 25 minutes on low flame.
Stir frequently to ensure the mixture doesn't burn.
When the popping sound of the heating oil stops, shut the heat off.
Hands off. Let your mixture cool down.
When room temperature, strain the oil to get the aloe Vera gel pieces, curry leaves, and fried Fenugreek seeds out.
Pour the liquid into a bottle. It is ready for use
