Revathi's concerned voice helped her to come back to senses...
"Yes Reva... I am here... Sorry was thinking about something else..."
Revathi was silent for a few seconds...
"Don't worry Gayu... Kannan will come back soon..."
"Reva!"
Revathi has never spoken about Kannan in the past many years... So this came as a surprise for Gayathri...
Revathi could understand the surprise and shocked tone in Gayathri's voice.
"I can understand your surprise Gayu... I went to Thiruthani with my family and there I met an old lady... I had your horoscope with me and I checked it with her... She said that all your bad omen has gone now and it's time for happiness to return back in your life... She said that you will live with your husband for many more years..."
"I don't know Reva... I hope I will atleast see Kannan before I die..."
"Gayu, never talk to me like this... Are you mad? You have Nikhil and Kalai... I told you about the old lady right? She didn't even get money from me for checking your horoscope... I feel those words are genuine... Don't lose hope... Kannan will come back soon..."
"I hope so Reva... Thank you for everything..."
"No problems... Ok, I will get you more info about this Pooja and share it with you..."
"Thanks Reva..."
Gayathri kept the receiver back in its place... She wondered about Revathi... She didn't even ask why she wanted details about Pooja... Revathi has been a nice friend and a great human being!
But then why is Nikhil not talking about Pooja???
Nikhil stood in the grass looking at the bus... He knew that the touring students will start their journey for the day around 10 in the morning... He had so much work to do but still he couldn't avoid standing there to get a glimpse of Pooja...
Pooja has never gone away from his thoughts... She had stayed in his heart always...
Now when she is here so very near to him, he couldn't stop the temptation of atleast glancing at her from far...
He saw the students coming out in groups... His eyes searched for Pooja...
Surprisingly he saw Annie coming out all alone...
He could see Annie reaching the bus and giving some instructions to the students...
Still there was no sign of Pooja...
Are they going to leave without her? What happened to her? Is she not well?
So many questions appeared in Nikhil's mind...
Leaving his hesitation he walked towards the bus... The students had started boarding the bus by then...
"Hello madam... How is your tour going on?" asked Nikhil to start the conversation with Annie.
"Good morning Mister Nikhil! Yes it's going on fine..."
"Great... So is it not difficult for you to manage so many students all by yourself?"
Annie looked at him curiously...
"Yes it's challenging but they are good kids... And since Pooja has left I have no other option left other than taking care of them on my own..."
"What you colleague left you all alone?" Nikhil tried to sound it more like a casual question.
"Yes, she had some urgent task so she had to leave..."
"Oh ok... Please don't hesitate to ask for help... I can arrange a dedicated guide for you, if you want..."
"That would be very helpful..."
"Sure I will do that..."
"Thank you very much..."
"It's my pleasure... Have a nice time!"
Nikhil kept starring at the moving bus... So she has left the town!
Pooja, please don't go away from me... Come back to me... I love you so much...
Please don't go away...
