Both Seetha and Uma were surprised by this question from Thulasi. Uma looked enquiringly at Thulasi... Thulasi nodded and said,
"I know I surprised you both... But I can't understand why a person like you should be allowed to stay alone like this... Middle class families have lots of financial issues and so many other things to worry about... And usually people say money can fix all your worries... So that’s why I am curious to know... If it's something personal, then it's ok..."
"Thulasi, yes, you surprised me... But there is nothing to hide... Now to answer your question... No, there has been no woman in my son's life atleast as far as I know... But he had a very close friend named Shiva... they were friends from their school days... Shiva married a beautiful girl from a good family... Looks like, one day this girl tried to misbehave with Dinu... But Dinu rejected her directly... So she turned the plate upside down and told her husband that Dinu misbehaved with her... This Shiva even without asking Dinu anything about it slapped him and shouted at him angrily and also broke the friendship... This incident impacted Dinu a lot... This happened couple of years ago and since then Dinu has started having a very different attitude towards girls... Hmmm..."
"Oh... Now I see..." said Uma.
"Yes, he is not a person with bad character as such... It's just because of his bad experience he had made up his mind that all girls are bad..."
