“Kalai, I don’t have any hatred towards aunty… I have also lost so many precious little things in my life… I know I can’t get anything back… But still I don’t think revenge or hatred is the correct weapon for settling scores… I have never got a chance to see the true face of my mom… Aunty is like my mom... “I don’t think that’s going to happen Kalai… But if it’s ok with you, can you share what you know about our parents?”
“Yes sure…” said Kalai.
Gayathri and Kannan were enjoying their private moment… Gayathri tried to recollect and share all those important incidents and news that Kannan missed in the past years… Ofcourse she just shared the happy moments…
Kannan was not really paying attention to what Gayathri was saying… He liked being with his wife… He enjoyed listening to her talk… She has been just the same right from the beginning… She would share everything that happened in the day when he return from work… He would sit and pretend to listen but would be just admiring his lovely wife…
They were such a lovely couple… Of course we are still a lovely couple, he thought to himself.
Gayathri noticed the sneaky smile in Kannan’s face.
“What’s there to laugh when I tell you Kalai missed her state rank by few marks?”
“No there’s nothing…”
“Hmmm… are you really listening to me?”
“Ha ha ha! Gayu you are just the same? Don’t you know about me? How can my mind really listen to what you are saying when it’s dumbfounded by your elegance… You are so sweet my darling…”
“Come on! You are not a youngster any more… You are an old father…”
“But when I have a sweet and cute wife like you, this old father can afford few prattling’s too!”
“You will never change…”
“How can I? Gayu, this is more or less like a re-birth for me… I don’t know how many more years I will live but I am happy that I am with you… When I die I will not complain!”
“Please stop this! You are only in your fifties… Never again talk to me like this…”
“Ok my highness!”
“Mmm... You have two grown up and married kids… You will soon become a grandpa remember that too…”
“Ok my beauty! To be frank this is the time period to enjoy life isn’t it?”

"I don't know why, but I feel there's something wrong between Nikki and Pooja" said Kannan.
Gayathri was stuck with guilt and didn't say anything immediately!
“I know they had some problems because of their parents but now everything should be fine right?”
“Mmm… It will take some time for them to bond again. You should have patience. Give them some time.”
“You are wrong Gayu. I can sense that things are messy between them and it’s more than what we can see! But yes I will wait. I cannot believe that my son, my blood will cheat a woman to take revenge…”
Gayathri hesitated… Should she say she’s the one who urged her son to take revenge for what happened to his father?
Kannan’s hand was softly holding Gayathri’s right hand… Gayathri looked at their joined hands…
Kannan will be surely furious if he learns the truth… Can she withstand his fury after waiting to just see him for so many years?
