He walked behind her to know, why is she upset for?
She went inside the bedroom and was about to close the door, he went behind her and entered the bedroom before she, closed it,
‘Why are you upset?’
She didn’t answer him, lied on the bed, turned towards the other side,
‘Come on now, you have to talk to me, I can’t see your face like this,I want to see your happy face’
She did not answer, half of her guilt and could not think herself, what she did in the past, is there any, wrong on her part? His mother, told her that, she cannot be the part of their family, she opted to leave him to his family, how can that be her mistake? Why did he cry? He loves me too much? She tried to find, who is responsible for their separation, she cried and closed her eyes, but the insult from his house, was coming to her memory, she was unable to control herself.
While Barathi’s mom went to her room to get herself freshen up after their long journey, Anitha walked along with her to the room and asked her sister ‘ Akila, why did you talk to Barathi like that, you don’t know, what she went through all these years, we saw her happiness for the past three days, I prayed to god for this happiness, since I saw her here, she is upset now, you are seeing her after two and half years, you do not want to see her upset like this, after you freshen up, go comfort your daughter and tell her you want to see the happy face with her husband.
‘Oh! I really did not mean anything, whatever I felt, I told her, I am sorry if she’d taken it otherwise. I thought she is unwell and that she went to take a nap, I didn’t know she was upset, I will go and talk to her, after I freshen up.’
Anitha left the room, and went to the kitchen that she will load the dishes in the washer,but when she went there she saw, Barath loading the dishes.
She told him, ‘come on Barath, when we are here, why are you doing these work, I’ll do it move away.’
He moved away, thinking about his wife, his face was, sad.
He came to uncle and sat on the sofa, uncle asked him questions and he answered everything, but wasn’t aware, what he was asking?
He got a call from his friend Hari, he said the papers were mailed to him. He told him, he will send the papers to his team and they have to approve this. So he’d to wait till he gets the approval from his team and he hung the phone and spoke to his team to work on his papers and get back to him at earliest.
He went upstairs to see his wife but he saw her mom speaking to her comforting her, he understood that his wife needed her parents now, it’s been two and half years since they spent time together. He thought he will not disturb her and he’ll sleep in his office. They’d their dinner and he told her mother to stay in their room for few days and Barathi was missing them a lot, it will give her the happiness.
She said,she’ll do it as he said. Anitha came behind and told Barath to sleep in their room only, Barathi will be alright in few days, since parents are here. So you don’t miss each other in this separation, you two had enough of separation.
Barath didn’t speak anything but to accept what she’d said, he went to his office, and opened his laptop, and started working on it, it was three he was still working. Barathi couldn’t sleep, she’d missed him so much, she wanted him next to her, she wanted to go and call him to the bed, but her ego was controlling her. She was struggling, knowing that he is in the next room and he is not coming to her not thinking of her, at once, she thought what was the reason for their sudden separation, why not I go and call him, then immediately she thought , why not he come and hug me on the bed. He should also feel the same way, I do, let him come.
After an hour she heard the footsteps approaching her bed, she knew it was him, her heart stopped beating or beating too fast, she couldn’t figure out what was happening to her. She was thinking that he is going to say sorry to her and hug her and will take her on his hands, kiss her, and she was thinking way far beyond it………..
He laid on the bed and in minutes he slept and then she heard his breathing sound as he was fast asleep, she started crying in disappointment, as she could not get what she was expecting from him.
She didn’t know that he was thinking the same as her and was scared that she might push him away and worsen further more in the relationship.
He told her to check and give the comments on, Hari’s project. He further pursued her to give the comments immediately. She took the papers to the office, and was working on it, he was also in the office doing another project which he received from his teams comments. He was making half a million in a week .
She was so surprised to see her husband’s talent.
She felt for him and wanted to make love, she’d been missing him, it’s the same with him but he was scared to approach her. After an hour, she brought the papers to him and everything was clearly analyzed, he was thinking of her intelligence, and praising her himself.
