Thulasi and Uma reached the restaurant and selected a comfortable seat. They are here to meet Krishna, Kavya's friend. Few days back when Thulasi first heard Kavya's whispering voice, she was very shocked. But as with her character, she didn't react immediately and didn't ask anything directly. She understood that her little sister is not a small girl anymore but she was not that very disappointed with her also. She wanted Kavya to soon settle in her life. So if this Kavya's friend turns out to be a good guy then it will be great, she thought to herself.

Once she made her mind clear, she slowly started the topic with Kavya. Kavya was initially a bit scared. But then when her sister assured that there is nothing to be scared, Kavya opened up and shared the story with Thulasi.

Krishna was Kavya's senior in the college. When she joined the college, Krishna was in his final year. They got chance to meet many a times in the college. After completing his studies, Krishna left the college and Kavya felt very bad about not being able to meet him at will. But then she was not sure about the reason for her feelings also. Soon after joining a well reputed company, Krishna visited the college one day to meet Kavya and proposed to her. Kavya was too happy to accept his proposal.

Thulasi was very much surprised to know that this has been going on for almost 2 years now without her notice. But she didn't have heart to scold her little sister. Though Kavya was apologetic, Thulasi consoled her. But Thulasi decided not to leave this as such anymore. She told her sister that she wants to meet Krishna soon.

And now here they are to meet Krishna at the restaurant. Thulasi didn't inform about this meeting to Saradha. She knows that her mother will be very angry when she comes to know about Kavya's love affair. So instead she informed the news to her best friend Uma and requested her to accompany her during the meeting.

Krishna and Kavya arrived on time without letting Uma and Thulasi wait for a long time. Krishna looked very handsome and he looked like a perfect match for Kavya. Kavya introduced him to her sister and her friend.

"Akka, this is Krishna... and Krishna, this is Thulasi akka and this is Uma akka, my sister's friend."

"Hello akka... I have been yearning to meet you... Kavi used to keep on talking about you..."

"Hello... It's nice to meet you too... Yes, my sister is very fond of me... Ok let's order something first..."

They called the server and ordered some snacks.

"So Krishna, do you have any siblings?" asked Uma.

"No Akka, I am the only son. My dad died few years back and now I have only my mom..."
He also shared more details about his family. His family is an affluent family with lot of properties in their native town and even here in Chennai they own couple of houses. While they are staying in one house, the other one is rented out.

"Oh! I am sorry about your dad! And where is your home and where do you work?" asked Thulasi.

"My house is in Mogappair and I work for Ex-Soft..." replied Krishna.

"Pardon us for asking so many questions Krishna....."

"That's ok akka. I am more than happy to clear all your doubts. I sincerely love Kavya and want to marry her as soon as possible..."

Kavya interrupted him and said,
"No Krish. We have already decided on this right? We can't marry immediately... we need to wait for another 4 or 5 years...."

Thulasi can understand the reason behind Kavya's reaction. She felt that it’s wrong to ask Krishna to wait so long just because of her family. But she didn't say anything directly.

"See akka, my visa stamping is under progress... In another 6-7 months I will get my visa stamped. My manager has promised me of a long term onsite assignment.... So if I can marry Kavya then I can also take her with me..." said Krishna.

"But then..." started Kavya but Thulasi stopped her in-between and said,

"It's ok Kavya, I know about you and I can understand Krishna's feelings also...."

Kavya bit her lips and kept quiet and Krishna thanked Thulasi.

"So Krishna, your mom is aware of your love?" asked Thulasi.

"No... Not yet akka.... But I can inform her immediately. She will never obstruct my happiness..."

"But Krishna, this is what all the lovers believe. But parents might have different ideas..." said Uma.

"That's true... maybe I will talk to my mom immediately and ask her to come and meet your family..."

Thulasi, thought for a few seconds and said,

"Yes Krishna... that will be better... It's better to inform elders soon..."

Krishna looked very happy and he said,

"Sure akka, I will do it today and I will let Kavya know when we will be coming to your house...."

"That's great" said Thulasi but Kavya was very quiet.
