Laali’s Jungle Tales - 07 - Liadha

Little Laali loves to watch animals. But she gets hurt when she sees them in cages or in zoos as prisoners. So she often goes for jungle safari with her parents to see her beloved animals in action. During such visits, she learns useful life lessons too.
The Daring Deer Team
In one such visit Laali saw three deer.
They were sad, because there was a hunter coming and killing their herd one by one.
Now they discussed and came out with a plan.
As usual on this Saturday also the hunter came.
He was about to shoot the first deer.
Then the first deer said, “ Hunter sir, it will be a loss if you kill me”
He asked” how?”
The deer replied” Look at me, I’m small and am hungry too. So I weigh less, also my skin will be small in size. I may not fetch you good money or fame, but look at the other deer, he is bigger and better”
The hunter observed the next one and it was appealing. So he went for the next one which was grazing at a distance.
The second deer also said the same thing and showed the third one.
Now the third one was grazing near by a pond.
The hunter went for it.
Now the third one warned” Never think of hunting again”.
Even before the hunter realized, he was falling into the pond.
Yes the first deer came silently and hit him unexpectedly towards the cold and deep pond.
And all the three deer ran off.
That was the last time the hunter ever thought of hunting.
Life lessons:
On seeing this Laali said” Dad isn’t it true that we should not hunt for fun” and Dad replied “Yes dear, also Unity is always strength.”
