Laali’s Jungle Tales - 06 - Liadha

Little Laali loves to watch animals. But she gets hurt when she sees them in cages or in zoos as prisoners. So she often goes for jungle safari with her parents to see her beloved animals in action. During such visits, she learns useful life lessons too.
The Eagle lesson
In one such visit, Laali saw an Eagle.
The eagle was hungry, but it was not eating anything.
It was sad.
A seagull saw this and asked the reason.
The eagle said” I long for fishes, but there is no fish in the river here. “
On hearing this seagull said” But the river has many snakes which you can eat”
The eagle replied sadly” but I’m craving for fishes”
Then the seagull advised the eagle saying “You can’t go hungry, then you will be weak and die and never you can eat fish”
So finally the eagle decided to eat the snakes, one after another.
It was a boring menu, but the eagle had to eat that for survival.
Time passed.
After few weeks now the eagle could see fish in the river.
The eagle was astonished and got overwhelmed with joy too.
Then only the eagle realised that it was the snake family, which were eating all the fishes.
Then after eagle had it’s favourite food stomach full whenever it wanted.
Life lessons:
On seeing this Laali said” Mom, now I know why I have to do my present tasks with full might. It will gradually make me to attain what I want “
Mom replied” Yes dear, that is the way to reach our goal. “
