He answered that ‘This is the medicine for my mother, who is seriously ill, and that they’d to give this immediately.’

The driver took them to the room, where his mother was laying on the bed, with all the tubes on. He told Barathi to stay in the room and went to see the duty doctor to inquire about the chief. Finally he found the duty doctor and introduced him to the doctor and then asked for the chief’s phone to let him know the medicine is here.
The duty doctor called , the chief doctor, he said that he will be here at ten and will take care of the medicine and he can handover the medicine to the duty doctor now. The chief had spoken to the duty doctor too.
He went to the room, Barathi was sitting there like an angel. She asked him ‘Is no one here with her, to take care of?’
He said ‘no, the nurses are taking care of her and Selvam is here and one of our staff will be here during day time, at night Selvam will sleep here. It’s been only two days now.

He told ‘why not we both stay here, I’ll talk to the doctor, if they’ll allow both of us to stay here.
