Chillzee Recipes - Poori payasam
This is an interesting dish to make with left over poories
INGREDIENTS
Pooris : 2 or 3
Milk : 1 cup
Sugar: 1/2 cup
ghee : 2tspns
Cashews and raisins
Cardamom powder
METHOD
1. Boil milk and sugar
2. Keep stirring till the sugar gets dissolved
3. Tear the pooris into small pieces and add to the hot milk and let it boil for 1 minute
4. Finally fry cashews and raisins and add to the payasam.
5. Add cardamom powder as well.
It tastes very good after half an hour when the pooris become soft
