Chillzee Recipes - Kalkandu satham - vathsala

Ingredients

Raw rice - 1cup

Kalkandu - 1 cup

Milk - 1 cup

Water - 2 cups

Ghee - 1 to 2 Tbspns

cardamom powder. rasins and cashews

METHOD

In a pressure cooker add rice. milk and water and pressure cook for 3 to 4 whistles.

Mash the cooked rice

Add kalkandu and cook it in a low flame (You can add kalakandu as it is if it is of small size and if it is of bigger size you can powder it and add so that it blends easily.)

Stir and cook it in a low flame till the kalkandu blends well with rice 

Now add ghee and mix well.

Fry cashews and raisns in ghee and add it.

Finally add cardamom powder and mix well
