Chillzee Recipes - Coconut Dosai - vathsala
Ingredients
Raw rice - 2 cups
coconut - 1
ghee - 1/2 cup
honey - 1cup
cardamom - 4
Procedure
soak rice for 1 hour
Break the coconut and keep the coconut water aside and grate the coconut
Now grind rice in the grinder along with coconut, coconut water, and cardamom to the dosa batter consistency
This batter can be used immediately
Heat the tawa , and make little thick dosa. Close the tawa with a shallow lid for two minutes.
Do not turn the dosa.
Before removing it from the tawa, add little of ghee and honey in the middle of the dosa and serve hot.
It tastes good only when it is hot.
Goes well with tomato ketchup.
