Chillzee Recipes - Dal halwa

Ingredients

Moong dal (soaked over night) - 1 cup

Ghee - 1/2 cup

Sugar - 1 cup     

Milk - 1/2 cup

Roasted cashews and rasins

Procedure

Grind the soaked moong dal into a soft paste.

Add half of the ghee to a pan and add moong dal paste.

Cook in a low flame by adding spoons of the remaining ghee at regular intervals.

Cook till the dal becomes thick and Ghee starts coming out of the mixture.

Mix sugar and milk in a different pan and bring it to boil.

Add this slowly to the dal and keep stirring

Cook till the halwa gets a shining look.

Garnish it with roasted cashew and rasins
