Chillzee Recipes - Paal Kozhukkaattai
Ingredients
Rice -1 cup
Urud dal - 1 cup
coconut milk
jaggery
Cardamom powder
oil to fry
Method to prepare:
Soak rice and urud dal for three hours and grind them till we get a smooth batter using less amount of water
Make small moulds using the batter and put them in medium heated oil and fry them till they become creamish yellow in color
Take coconut milk in a bowl and add powdered jaggery and cardamom powder and mix well
Then strain using a strainer ( to avoid dust particles in the jaggery)
Once the fried kozhukkattai s comes to room temperature , boil some water and add them to it.
Leave it aside for few minutes and then strain the water and add them to coconut milk
Now paal kozhukkattai is ready to serve.
