The Journey of Life – Madhu
My longest journey has just begun
No preparations I enter the train
“This seat is mine” I proclaimed
The old man over there exclaimed
O’my girl , Is this your place
When you get off, someone is to replace
Without a word ,I sat there wondering
Seeing people around me wandering
Some were chatting, some fighting
A few others to themselves enjoying
My companions they are for a day or two
Strangers now, Will they be the same in the end too
Friendly smiles, some strange looks
Should I be in everyone’s good books
A few stepped away in the next stop
Fresh faces enetered in to fill the gap
Happy journey for a few, some say tiring one
Will others experience influence my own
In the journey of my life
I am the one who would ride
Noone could drive in my name
Neither can I play another’s game
Is there anyone to judge my performance
Who else can ,than my own conscience
