03.  Barath and Rathi - VJ G

Barath started kissing her just to calm her down, so he can talk to her. He didn’t believe himself he was unable to stop kissing her and he completely lost his senses.

Once he came to his sense, he relieved her from him but did not let her move from him and holding her hand. She was shedding tears for his improper behavior, though he knew it was a big mistake of him he did not apologize her.

He wiped her tears and said ‘listen Barathi, we have to talk about our future,’ she said ‘there is no future between us’ and try to get his fist off of her wrist.

His hold was very tight, she failed at it.

He asked her ‘though I know the way you look at me, I want to ask you this,  do you love anyone other than me?’

She did not answer but shook her head from left to right, he understand it’s ‘no’

He said ‘good, I wouldn’t have believed even if your answer was “yes’

She lifted her head and looked at him and said ‘ Ok , don’t hurt me, we will talk’

He relaxed his fist a little but he did not want to leave her, so he was holding her hand in his.

She liked the way he was showing his love to her

She asked him ‘tell me about you and your family’

He took her hand and kissed, started talking’ you know about my business, I own the business, right now it’s in the small level and I wanted to take the business internationally and will do it for sure. I am the only son to my parents and recently I lost my father’ she said ‘sorry to hear that Barath, I really mean it, I feel that I wasn’t with you to share your sorrows back then, am really sorry’

He said ‘I know, you really mean it Barathi, thanks. I really missed you, back then I really needed someone like you to lean on to. I was alone to take care of everything and was not able show my sorrow to anyone because I have to console my mother and be a man to my family.

She went closer to him and touched his cheek and kissed it. He smiled at her and returned the kiss to her and went on….

My father was from a rich family and has plenty of properties in and around Bangalore. Since, it’s all ancestor properties, it all came to me only. I did not want anything but I want to establish my own and prove something on my own.

She didn’t say anything, she felt what he says was right and she liked the way that he did not give importance for money.

He continued ’Anyway, it’s been two years since I started my business and so far it’s going good.  I know you give a damn about my money and property and will love me for myself and live for me’

‘Now I ask of you, will you marry me Rathi? I don’t think that I can live without you in my life. I wanted to marry a woman like you, though my mother was forcing me to get married, I was avoiding it because, I know, what I wanted? Tell me, will you marry me?’ He tightened her hand and asked her and waiting for an answer from her very eagerly, like a small child.’

She yes looking at his eyes with a shivering voice ‘yes, I would marry you, whenever you want, however you want it’ she told this without knowing what she was saying.

“Rathi…. Will you marry me tomorrow, I want to own you tomorrow itself, I want just you. What do you say?’ He asked this and she heard only him saying Rathi and she fell on that call.

She said ‘Yes, yes, I will marry you tomorrow’

‘You know the reason why I asked you to marry me tomorrow? I love you the moment I saw you, I was not myself and I don’t think I can move any further thinking of you. I don’t think I can work without seeing your face every day and move on without kissing you every day.’

‘The moment I saw you, you know how much I wanted you? It’s not about anything, but being with you my sweetheart.’

He asked further ‘should I talk to your parent’s Rathi?’ she said ‘no’ at this point Barath.

‘My parents may agree to this, but as I said earlier they are orthodox and will have to look for the auspicious dates. So, we will tell them after we get married and if they wish to see us together we will opt for the reception for the friends and relatives.’

‘What about your mother? What will she think? So why don’t you tell her? She asked him

He said ‘it’s the same thing to both the parents and you do not think about anybody but us’ he said and she obeyed it.

He told her ‘Why don’t we go out for lunch and get something for our wedding?’

She said ‘yes, we will’

They went out and got the silk sarrees and some wedding jewelries for both of them.

Without each other’s knowledge they bought, jewel’s for each other.

It was evening by that time they finished their shopping and went to have their dinner. Barath took her to a restaurant to a big one but she refused and wanted to go to her taste. He agreed and went there. She always comes here with her friend Ramya, whenever Ramya would ask her out, She never had her own wanting to go out and eat.
