Compassion beyond Comparison – Madhu
I shall leave now O’ my lady love
A delicious treat to you I owe
He threw a kiss on her belly so quick
Froze the moment he felt his cubs kick
Whole day he could find no prey
I can’t let her starve whole day
Determined he crossed the river side
Saw a grazing doe with her stag beside
The hunt is all set to begin
O my lord the doe is carrying
Did the lady deer shiver in fright
How could she manage a swift flight
The stag stood still at the gaze
Of the lion, its time for a chase
King of the jungle didn’t make a move
Deer couple surprised with no clue
O’ You stag, do u have a sense
Look at her , your lady wince
Get her a place warm and safe
Run away now I spare thee life
O’ king mercy u shower on us
Why would you I am so curious
Thy lady on her way, so my queen
To hunt you now, I am not so mean
Deer couple bow in immense gratitude
Offering thanks to lions kind attitude
The lion had promised his wife a grand feast
Couldn’t keep his word , worried the proud beast
Glory to you my dearest husband
Said his better half, do not repent
Weaker the deers to take part in race
A win over them would ve been a disgrace
Oh! Man
You are in the top of the hierarchy
Have you ever lived to that dignity
A lion has showed heights of compassion
Can you be even near to his comparison
If not for food, not an animal hunts the weaker
Why do you crave in so much hunger
For the flesh and blood of your own brother
Sadism and ego, to quench your thirst for power
