Chillzee Recipes - Chilli Corn spring - Priya Pradeep

Ingredients

Boiled corn Kernels – 1 cup.

Spring onion leaves – ¼ cup.

Onion - 1 Medium size

Tomato – 1 Medium Size.

Green Chili – 2

Turmeric powder- a pinch

Salt – as required

Chili powder – 1tbsp.

Ginger garlic paste – 1tbsp

Chili sauce- 1tbsp

Tomato Sauce – ½ tbsp.

Mustard – ¼ tbsp.

Butter –as required

Curry Leaves, Coriander Leaves- for garnishing

 

Procedure

  1. Heat the pan and add butter. Once it melts add mustard.
  2. Once it crackles and finely chopped onions and saute until it becomes translucent.
  3. Add ginger garlic paste and curry leaves, sauté until the raw smell is gone.
  4. Add finely chopped tomatoes and tomato sauce and sauté well.
  5. Add green chili and chili sauce.
  6. Once the base blends well, add chopped spring onion leaves and cook for two minutes.
  7. Now add chili powder, salt (as per taste) and turmeric powder and add corn.
  8. Add ¼ cup water and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  9. Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot with Rice/Chapatti.
