Chillzee Recipes - Kheema fry ( South Indian style) - Kiruthika
Ingredients:
Minced meat - 500 gms
Chopped oninin-1/2 cup or 1 big onion
Chopped tomatoes - 1 cup or 2 -3 medium sized tomatoes
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
Chili powder -1 tablespoon
Coriander powder -2 tablespoon
Turmeric 1/2 tsp
Salt as per taste
Any mutton masala MTR / AACHI or garam masala -1 tsp
Fr tempering - cloves cinnamon and cardinal two pods each
Bay leaf - 1
Coriander n mint leaves chopped - for garnishing - a handful
Oil to fry -1 1/2 tablespoon
Method:
Firstly cleanly wash the minced Meat with turmeric and keep it aside
Next take a cooker and add oil and heat
Do the tempering with cinnamon cardamom and cloves and bay leaf
Now add chopped onion. Sauté until translucent. Next add ginger garlic paste.
Once it's done add in the chopped tomatoes and all the masalas and salt.
Sauté for three minutes and add the minced meat.
Mix well. Sprinkle half a cup of water and close the lid and let it cook for three whistles
Wait until the steam is gone... open lid... Fry it until dry on low or medium flame.... garnish it with coriander and mint and serve it with hot rice rasam rice or roti and naan
