தெரியுமா உங்களுக்கு??? - ரயில் பயணங்களும், விசித்திர நம்பிக்கைகளும்!

ரயில்கள் கண்டுப்பிடிக்கப்பட்டப் போது, பெண்கள் அதை போக்குவரத்து வழிமுறையாக பயன்படுத்துவதை பலரும் எதிர்த்தனர்.

அந்த காலக்கட்டத்தில் ரயில் எனும் தொழில்நுட்பம் பொதுமக்களுக்கு புதியது. அதனால் பல விதமான வதந்திகள் பரப்பப் பட்டன.

பெண்களின் உடல் அமைப்பு மணிக்கு 50 மைல் வேகத்தில் பயணிக்கும் பலம் கொண்டதில்லை. அந்த வேகத்தில் பயணித்தால் அவர்களின் கருப்பை உடலில் இருந்து பறந்துப் போய் விடும் என்று கருதப்பட்டது.

மேலும் அவ்வளவு அதிக வேகத்தில் செல்லும்போது மக்கள் உருகி விடுவார்கள் என்றும் சிலர் நினைத்தார்கள்.

காலமும், அதிகரித்த பயணங்களும் இந்த நம்பிக்கைகளை உடைத்து எரிந்து விட்டன!.

இன்று இந்தியாவில் ஓடும் வேகமான ரயில் மணிக்கு 100 மைல் எனும் வேகத்தில் ஓடக் கூடியது!

உலகின் வேகமான ரயில் மணிக்கு கிட்டத்தட்ட 250 மைலுக்கும் மேலே ஓடக் கூடியது!!!

Train trips and weird beliefs!

In the early days of trains, women were discouraged from using them as a means of transportation.

The technology was unfamiliar to the public, and it was thought that women’s bodies were not made to travel at 50 miles per hour and that their uteruses would physically fly out of their body if they traveled at that speed.

There were also theories that people would melt when going at such high speeds.

Of course, time and increased travel put these theories to rest.
