Chillzee : :-) Ok, I want to ask you something! People write at Chillzee, get a break and then move on. I can understand that. But why is that you still prefer to write here? I am very happy that you are with us but I am just curious to know!
Bindu : As I said before, my life revolves around my family. So it's difficult for me to get a feel of the real outside world.
I like Chillzee because I have been here right from the beginning and I like the way everything is streamlined and organized. I feel more comfortable writing @ Chillzee than any other site.
Chillzee : Thank you Bindu for that! How are things going with Nee thanaa (NT) and Kathal nathiyena vanthaai (KNV)?
Bindu : Going on fine... I am really enjoying it. The two months break also helped me to bring back my focus. So far, so good!
Chillzee : What was your reaction on the Verenna vendum ulagathile (VVU) poll results?
Bindu : Amused!
Chillzee : I just don't understand your logic here. Don't you think you should write in your name to build your brand value?
Bindu : Yes, you're correct in a way! But I believe what's really important is the story. If it's good, irrespective of the name, it will be well received. I don't want anyone to praise just because of the brand name. I want to make sure that the content is also good.
MVU is a classic example of this logic!
Chillzee : You are very different!
Bindu : Think so :-)
Chillzee : BTW, what happened to your start up? Is it still under development?
Bindu : Oh yes, we were waiting to complete certain legal formalities. There was unexpected delay because of the Parliamentary elections. Now it's back on track, should be all set in next few days or a month.
In a way it is very disappointing to wait for so many days after putting so much effort. But the positive aspect is now we are well prepared. We have used this time to formulate a sturdy strategy and keep ourselves well prepared.
I would also like to share that we are not going to use Chillzee brand name for the startup. I am sure that should give relief to all Chillzee lovers including me :-)
Chillzee : All the very best for your start-up. I know you really wanted to use your start up to provide opportunities for women. Any updates?
Bindu : There are no changes, everything remains just the same. You will see that in next few days... Till then it's better for me to keep mum :-)
Chillzee : Good luck Bindu! With respect to writing, what's your plan from here?
Bindu : I am done with my first 'book only' story Un aasai mugam thedi. Once I am done with all the formalities, expecting that to be published in a couple of months or so. Have more ideas, it's just a matter of time and focus. I would also like to pep up PP and publish it.
Chillzee : Another "U" name??? What's special with this letter ‘U’?
Bindu : Ha ha ha ! Nothing special! Unexpectedly my first story was published as 'Uyir ketkum amutham nee' and now I am obsessed with this letter U :-)
So, for now, you can expect all my books to be published with a name starting with U :-)
Chillzee : Nice logic Bindu :) Other than writing stories, what are your other interests?
Bindu : movies, music, basketball, tennis
Chillzee : What type of songs do you like?
Bindu : Melody!
Chillzee : Tell us about your favorite movies, actors and actresses?
Bindu : I like Rajini, Ajith, Surya, Pathmini, Banumathi, Radhika, Suhasini, Revathi, Kushboo, Banupriya, Jothika and Anushka.
My favorite movies will make a huge list... A sample is Pasamalar, Manthiri kumari, Malai kallan, Paalaivana rojakkal, oru thalai raagam, Pathinaru vayathinile, Aaram arivu etc etc
Chillzee : Who is your favorite author? And tell us about your favorite books.
Bindu : Obvious isn't it? Ramani Chandran. Also like Kalki, Vaasanthi, Kanchana Jayathilagar stories.
My favorite books list is very huge. All-time favorite is Ponniyin Selvan.
Chillzee : Who is your role model?
Bindu : My husband!
