FeaturedChillzee : It's nice to feature you @ Chillzee, Vathsala! Tell us more about you and your family

Vathsala : To tell you about me, I am a full time home maker living in Bangalore. I am a post graduate in Mathematics, was working in a school , now enjoying my life as a home maker with my husband and my 10 year old son. My husband is Mr.venugopalan and my son venkatesan. We are three V's .

Chillzee : Wow, you have a 10 year old son! That's a surprise :-)

Vathsala : Even I cannot believe it. ( Ivvalavu chinna vayasile enakku ivvalavu periya paiyanaa?) ;-)

Chillzee : Ha ha ha! Good one :-) Is MOP your first long story?

Vathsala : Yes MOP is my first long story.

Chillzee : How difficult / easy it was to write a series?

Vathsala : I would not term it as easy or difficult. It was an wonderful experience .I started the story very casually. As the story moved I started travelling with the charachters, and there were days when I forgot to take breakfast, enjoying with archana and vasanth.:) I had to remember all the suspense leads i had given in the previous episodes and move accordingly without any logic fail .Very interesting experience. I really enjoyed writing MOP.

Chillzee : While writing MOP, did you come across a situation where you were in a dilemma to take it this way or that way?

Vathsala : Actually it was not a dilemma. While starting the story my idea was different. I did not want to reveal the truth to archanaa till the end and had an entirely different climax in my mind. But as the story started moving I personally did not like that climax, and one day suddenly I changed the track of the story. Can u guess at which point I changed the track of the story???

Chillzee : I am pretty bad in guessing stuff! It's better that you tell us about that :-)

Vathsala : Well. Then we will leave this question to the readers and see if they can guess it. Hope any one of them will guess it right. We will see. ( suspense vekkarathe namakku velaiyaagi pochu enna seiya????)

Chillzee : I am sure, not just one but many of them will guess it. Tell us what about the support you got from your family w.r.t writing?

Vathsala : My husband is my first reader. After finishing every update I used to mail it to him from home, and inspite of his tight schedule in the office he used to read it and tell me his comments, and my son, whenever I sit to write he would not disturb me for anything. That was really a great help from his side. Thank u both of you.

Chillzee : That's good to hear! So what are your plans from here? Thinking of becoming a professional writer or do you have any other plans with respect to writing?

Vathsala : As of now I do not have any big plans. We will just take what ever comes in our way.;-) At this moment I enjoy writing at chillzee. That's it.

Chillzee : I am sure you can go much longer distance than Chillzee but I appreciate your humbleness. Can we expect you to write another series at Chillzee? ;-)

Vathsala : kandippa. namma kitte iththanai per sikki irukeenga avvalavu seekiram vittuduvomaa enna? ;-)

Chillzee : We are more than happy to hear that :-) Now that we have made the announcement for the next series, can you tell us more about your upcoming series?

Vathsala : ya. The new series is around a hero, heroine and her male friend and their own ideas . That is all I can say for now. Still searching for a good title. We will see.

Chillzee : All the very best for your upcoming series. We all are eagerly waiting for it. Coming back to MOP, what induced you to select a father - daughter relationship as the core of the story?

Vathsala : Actually this story was working in my mind from a long time. Most of our stories talk about mother's affection I feel. Even fathers have great a deal of sentiments inside them. But they do not show it out. That is why I took this as the base of the story.
