Is it necessary to use Mouthwash?

Mouthwash can prevent or treat plaque, tartar formation, & bad breath.

Mouthwash also complements brushing & flossing.

In general, Mouthwash is of 2 types- cosmetic and prescribed

Prescribed mouthwash

Prescribed mouthwash is prescribed by a dentist for specific reasons like preventing cavities, preventing or treating gum diseases, to prevent or treat bad breadth, or to use after oral surgery.

Cosmetic mouthwash:

Cosmetic mouthwash can be bought from a store.

As mentioned above, when used properly, mouthwash can complement brushing & flossing, but is not a replacement for brushing & flossing.

Can we use Clove for dental pain? - Vinoth

Clove is a good emergency medication for sudden dental pain. Always it is advisable to see a doctor after such pain as long term use of clove on the gums can irritate them.
