திங்கட்கிழமை காலை, கம்ப்யூட்டர் பிராக்டிஸ் லேபுக்கு கண்மணி வந்திருந்தாள். இருவரும் சேர்ந்து அவள் முடிக்கவேண்டியிருந்த ப்ரோக்ராம்களை விரைந்து முடித்தார்கள். “என்ன கண்மணி, அன்னிக்கு போன்ல கார்த்திக்கிட்ட பேசிட்டியா? என்றாள் ரம்யா. ஆமா பேசினேன். தினேஷுக்குத் திடீர்னு காய்ச்சலாம், அதான் கிளினிக் போக இரண்டு பேரும் லீவ்!” எனவும், “இதை நம்புறியா நீ?, இரண்டு பேரும் கட் அடிச்சிட்டு சினிமாவுக்குப் போயிருப்பாங்க!என்ற ரம்யாவிடம் மறுத்து, நிஜமாவே தினேஷுக்கு உடம்பு சரியில்ல! என்று கண்மணி சொல்ல, என்னாச்சோ தினேஷுக்கு என்று ரம்யாவிற்குப் பதறியது. சிம்போசியத்தில் போன நான் வெள்ளிகிழமை பார்த்தப்போ நல்லாத்தானே இருந்தான் என்ற ரம்யாவிடம், ஓஹோ உன்னை சேலையில் பார்த்தது தான் தினேஷின் காய்ச்சலுக்குக் காரணமா என்றாள் கண்மணி கிண்டலாக. அவள் கையில் மெதுவாகக் கிள்ளிய ரம்யா திடீரென லேபின் கதவுகள் படபடவெனத் தள்ளப்பட்டு திறக்கப்படும் சத்தத்தில் நிமிர, பல பிரிவுகளைச் சேர்ந்த முதலாம் ஆண்டு மாணவர்கள், மிகுந்த பரபரப்புடன் லேபிற்குள் நுழைந்து கொண்டிருந்தனர்.
