From my desk - July 14 - Edition 03
Dear friends,
It's my pleasure to talk to you all again. Hope everything is fine with you guys too.
If you are reading this then I know that you are seeing the all NEW Chillzee. I believe you also like the new site!
Before we get into our business, here's a quick look on what's new and how to find the old features in the new site:

There are many many changes!
i) Comments system:
One of the major change in the new site is the comment system. I hope you all will also like it.
It has many features, we will be implementing them on phased manner.
ii) Adhoc Series:
We have been following the schedule based series for almost 3+ years now. But we realize it’s time for us to be flexible!
Based on the feedback we have received, we have decided to introduce new adhoc series at Chillzee.
a) What is this adhoc series?
It will be just the same as our regular series but with no pre-defined update date.
The writer has flexibility to update the story as per her/his wish and comfort.
Officially, ISL (In search of love) will be our first Adhoc series.
iii) Restricted Viewing:
I am not a big fan of imposing restrictions but we have realized that we need to provide extra features to our writers. This is a new feature introduced based on feedback :-)
This feature would provide extra privilege to the writer to select the users who can view their story @ Chillzee.
This feature is still in development and if things go as we planned, Unnai parthirunthen... will be the first series to try this feature.
More details to follow, please stay tuned.
iv) Reward:
Since couple of our friends write stories, we UNDERSTAND the time and effort it takes to write a story. To appreciate our writers, we have implemented a new cash reward concept @ Chillzee. All our FoC (regular schedule) series writers are entitled to a cash reward of Rs.1000/-* for their story and their commitment to update on time.
As I mentioned last month, if everything goes fine, we will implement the same to other sections also.

Now coming back to our edition, we have a new series starting in July!
New series:
Priya the writer of the recently published Adaiyalam short story will be penning a new story starting July 9th @ Chillzee. The yet to be named series will be updated once in two weeks on Wednesdays.

Thanks Vinodha aka Bindu for the short and sweet Verenna vendum ulagathile series. It was like enjoying an unexpected rain in the hot summer season. Expecting many more contributions from you.
June was a bit hectic for us. I am happy that it’s over!
In the last few weeks you would have seen delayed responses, erratic updates etc etc... Thanks for coping up with us! We will try to be more organized in the coming days...
