“I can talk to the blood banks that we have association with. I will also ask our kids to pray for her. How old is she?”
“Mid-twenties, I guess”
“Poor child! I will see if I can get more details for you Subha” promised Jaya.
Subha did not have very high hopes of Jaya receiving useful lead. She knew Murthy and Baskar would have turned the world around to help Bavi.
But she wanted to give it a try. Luckily if someone in Jaya’s contacts could help Bavi, it would be fantastic for Murthy’s family. It might also help Baskar to come out of his mask.
Baskar entered his room with expectations! It’s been more than a week since Subha started keeping those Good morning scribbles for him.
He has made it a habit to leave his room early in the night to enable Subha to keep those notes for him.
He looked at his table and there it was! The good morning, smiley face and a message! He read it aloud.
‘WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU LEMONS, MAKE LEMONADE.’
A grin appeared in his face instantly.
