While Krishna was busy teaching him about women psychology, Dinakaran’s mind was working on something else. Dinakaran knew that Thulasi’s reaction has nothing to do with Misha or jealousy. Though she was not happy about Misha hugging him, it was something else that triggered her reaction…
He tried to remember her words…
“You just wanted to show that you can do this to any woman…”
“The reason for your care and concern…”
“You just want to prove that you can enslave anyone by your power or charm…”
“May be because you had bad opinion about me…”
He smiled remembering Thulasi’s first outburst at him… May be she still remembers and is still impacted by whatever he told her when he first met her in his home…
“… So now tell me bro”
Dinakaran looked at his brother, who was saying something and said,
“Have you ever faced the same scenario with Kavya, Krish?”
“Yes, many times…”
“What? More than once?”
“Yes…”
“So, she also yelled at you…”
“Yes, that’s what she usually does and once she slapped me too”
“And what did you do?”
“I apologized to her and I am not like you bro, I resolved the problem each and every time within a day…”
“But don’t you think that she should change?”
“Ha ha ha… You are joking?”
“…”
“See bro, if you wait for akka to come and apologize to you, I am sure that it’s going to take too much time. In my case, I know Kavya will be the one who will be more impacted because of our quarrel. And I am not willing to make her worry even for a minute. Dinakaran smiled and said,
“You are a good person Krish… Kavya is lucky and ofcouse she deserves it…”
“But see bro, I can’t say the same thing to you… But don’t worry, let’s rectify this… Just call akka and talk to her… Or atleast setup something so that you can meet her accidentally…”
“Nice ideas Krish… But you know I am a very different person…”
“So?”
“Instead of me setting up a meeting, let’s induce Thulasi to meet me to patch up…”
“Wow, what an idea!” said Krishna sarcastically.
“Bro, do you really want akka to continue to worry about you for such a long time?”
“No Krish, I don’t want her to worry for anything even for a milli-second… But this is for a different purpose… Trust me… This is not just for me but for Thulasi also…”
“Hmmm…”
“So, Krish since you also have so much affection towards Thulasi, can I ask you a favor?”
“Yes bro, tell me…”
Kavya was checking the jewels that they bought from the shop that day and Thulasi was giving her ideas about the best occasion to wear each one of them. Both Kavya and Saradha had been worried about Thulasi. Though Saradha didn’t ask her daughter anything, Kavya asked her sister directly. Though Thulasi tried to convince Kavya her little sister didn’t accept her…
Finally Thulasi had to lie. She lied to her sister that she was dull because of the memory of her father… She wholeheartedly apologized to her father later for using his name to escape from her sister’s questions…
Saradha came with snacks and was happy to see her daughters cheerfully talking about the jewels.
“Kavya, do you have any idea what Krishna wanted to talk to us?”
“No amma, he didn’t say anything about that. He just said that he wanted to talk to us and it’s something important…”
“I am worried Kavy…”
“Amma! Stop thinking too much… We know about Krishna…” said Thulasi.
“Yes, that’s true… Hope there will be no new issues…” said a worried Saradha.
When Krishna reached Kavya’s home, he could see the curiosity in the faces of all three women.
“Please relax, don’t look at me like that…” He said jovially.
“Come on Kris, don’t make us wait anymore. Tell us what’s the matter” commanded Kavya.
“Chill out Kavi. Aunty, it’s about the marriage date. Have you decided on the date already?”
“We are thinking about 27th …”
“That sounds fine; I just have one small concern…”
“What is that Krishna?” asked Thulasi.
“It’s you akka…”
“What?”
“Yes akka… Not only Kavya, even I consider you as my sister…”
“Yes I know that Krishna…”
“Then how can we be happy if you are like this akka?”
Thulasi was shocked.
“So what are you saying?” asked Kavya looking directly at Krishna.
“I can be in India till next month end… So somehow if we can find a suitable match for akka, we can get her married and then start with our marriage plans…”
“But…”
“Please akka don’t say anything… This will make us all happy… I have already shared this with my mother and she has also accepted this idea…”
“But Krishna, I am not planning to marry anyone in this life…”
“Then you please think about it now akka… Atleast for the sake of me and Kavya and also aunty… Please akka…”
Thulasi sat there astonished wondering what to say…
