voice this year. Ever since their bitter divorce three years back, he hasn’t wished her for any of the events. It was a mutual divorce with consent, but they both had bitter memories about it.
For ten years, he had been the first one to wish her on her birthday. He has never missed it for any reason. A wave of loneliness and unease swept over her.
"I am strong. I should get over it. Move on, Aarti," she said to herself.
But her heart was in no mood to listen to her pep talk. She lay wide awake on the luxury bed decorated with the finest satin and silk.
