Chapter 08
Grace and Jess were shocked at what they saw. They saw a small city just like the one back home. Except, this one was filled with babies instead of adults.
“Come, come” Joy cried.
Grace and Jess still busy taking everything in did not hear Joy.
“Hellllo” Joy exclaimed annoyed.
“Ohh sorry” Grace and Jess exclaimed at the same time.
Joy showed them around all around the baby world. This, of course, took a few days itself. But Grace and Jess truly fell in love with the world. This world brought back that childhood joy they had felt before their dad got sick. When things were fine, not great but fine.
Thoughts raced around Grace’s head no matter how much she tried to shut them out. “What was Mother doing?” Was father really okay? This wasn’t some kind of trick!?”
“Thinking??” Joy asked knowingly.
“Yeah” Grace said with a sigh.
“Come with me. I think I might have something to help the “thoughts” in your head.” Joy said hinting for Grace to follow her.
