I was thinking why he is doing all these things to me? He likes me? He is now even standing in a queue to get a meal for me? He is too good. He is not even flirting with me. But he is becoming so sweet to me. When I was thinking about him, got a call from my friend who is working there.
“Hey… where are you? Your interview got completed?”
“No. not yet started. Now in café.”
“Ok be there. Will meet you within 5 mins… Manju is also with me.”
Before I asked her not to come now she just disconnected the call.
“Oh god... what’s this… he is in queue for me only... if he sees me with my friends what he will think. What shall I tell him?”
“Hi laliiiii…” - Manju and Durgi were standing in front of me.
“Hi…” – I was not in mood to hug them and to speak with smile. I just kept asking me what he will think? He will get angry? Or he will think that he has given too much space to me.
“Where is your lunch? You are simply sitting in café without having lunch… what happened?”
Just opened my mouth to answer them but Sujith entered correctly and took another seat next to me.
“Hi all” – he said to them and carried on looking at me…”Have your lunch first.”
They got shocked by seeing him with me. I could understand their question which was running in their mind.
“He is sujith. Since I came here without having my breakfast I was about to faint. So just saw him in reception and asked his help to take me to cafe.”
“He looked at me surprisingly. But didn’t tell anything.”
“Oh so good of you. Thanks sujith. She is always like this only. Even in college she was such a nerd. But she is really cool and popular with everybody. She won’t take care of herself. She is used to run all time for her family. Sorry for troubling you”
He just said “hmm. It’s ok.”
They were speaking many things in front of him. About our girls’ gang and their love. both were spilling the beans in front of him. He was silently sitting and was playing games in his mobile without paying attention there. I can’t ask him to go to his work because I love to be with him. Even my friends didn’t ask him to leave. At least he would have done that but he also didn’t. he would have liked my presence as I did.
I was stuffing my face so I had my lunch quickly. I just wanted to drop out off that place immediately... I didn’t want him to be disturbed anymore because of me. Started realizing I owned up.
“Ok guys. I will leave... got delay to my interview. Let see you after some times.”
“Yeah ok... we too got late... Sujith please take her to interview block. We need to go now.”
“Ok no problem.” – he said.
“Before leaving let’s take a selfie” – Manju asked suddenly.
I didn’t expect that. Dunno what’s going on... I was looking at him... he was looking at me…
Manju already started giving poses. Totally we took more than 5 selfies. Few was taken by manju and few was taken by sujith. Because manju told him “ If I take, you are not coming fully. You are only lamp post height so you take please”
I dunno whether I should laugh at him or should apologize him for my stupidity. We hugged each other and they started leaving place. We too came out from café. I asked him only 15 mins but its been 45 mins. I was wondering how to ask sorry to him. This time we were walking at a snail’s pace. Surprisingly he asked me “shall we sit in lawn for few mins?” – he gave surprise.
Lawn? Why he is asking to sit there? Is he going to shout at me? What is running in his mind? Will he ask me to leave without attending interview? He got irritated? I didn’t get even a single clue from his expression.
We sat in lawn. In this summer also we felt some fresh and chill air. Few couples and friends gang were sitting there and chewing the fat. It was the icing on the cake but I could not able to feel this amazing moment… I didn’t look at his eye. I was looking at grass as I was waiting for his words. He just asked “why did you say like that?”
I understood that something in his mind but what is that? “What I said?” – answered.
“I am your interviewer... why you didn’t tell that? You were saying I am just an unknown person… why?”
Oh is this his question? He is angry because I told them that he is just an unknown person? That means he is getting possessiveness. Or he just expected me to tell that he is my interviewer. thinking all these behind I answered him “yes I didn’t tell because I didn’t want you to get a bad point of view from their side.” He was wondering like what’s wrong in that. I continued “if I tell that you are my interviewer surely they will think you are flirting with me because you no need to take me to cafe. They didn’t know anything about what happened between us. So even if I get selected they will surely say like we knew it because he was flirting with you that’s why he selected you… I didn’t want all these to hear. So I just said you are hi bye friend. If you feel any wrong in this sorry to you.” Now only I looked at him to see his reaction. He smiled at me. I felt comfortable in his smile. Now I can feel this moment. The sun shines more brightly and the birds sing more sweetly. I think I am head over heels in love. – laughing at myself.
