வைத்துவிட்டு போன தட்டை தூக்கி எறிந்தார், அவள் அப்பா. அவனுடன் வந்தவர்கள் அதனை எடுத்துக் கொண்டு போனார்கள்.
அந்த அக்ரஹாரத்தில் எல்லோரும் பார்த்துக் கொண்டும், அவர்களுக்குள் ஏதோ கிசு கிசுவென்று பேசிக் கொண்டிருந்தனர். மானஸாவிற்கு அவமானமாக இருந்தது. என்னதான் பிறந்ததிலிருந்து பார்த்துக் கொண்டும் பழகிய மனிதர்களென்றாலும், இந்த மாதிரி நடந்ததால் அவள் வெட்கி கூசிப் போனாள்.
இத்தனைக்கும் இந்த நிகழ்வுக்கும் அவளுக்கும் சம்மந்தமே இல்லாதது.
"என்ன கிருஷ்ணன் இப்படி பண்ணிட்டீங்களே, பாவம் மானசா, என்ன ஏதுன்னு கேட்டு நல்லபடி கல்யாணம் செய்ஞ்சு வச்சிருக்கலாம் இல்லை?"
என்று அக்கிரகார பிரென்ட் வந்து கேட்கவும், கிருஷ்ணனுக்கு இன்னும் கோவம் அடங்கவில்லை.
"இது என் வீட்டு விஷயம் நீங்கள் யாரும் தலையிடாமல் இருந்தால் ரொம்ப சந்தோஷம் கேட்டேளா?, இப்போ எங்களை தனியா விட்டு போறேளா ப்ளீஸ்?" என்றார் ஒரு கையாலாகாத தனத்துடன்
அவர் அதற்கு மேல் ஏதும் பேசாமல் போய் விட்டார்.
