வாழ்நாள் கனவு. அவள் முழுவதுமாக குணமடைந்து தன்னுடைய இயல்பான வாழ்க்கையை வாழ்வதற்கு நான் என்ன வேண்டுமானாலும் செய்வேன். நீ இதைப் பற்றி கவலைப்படாதே. அதிதியும் அபியும் என்னுடைய இரண்டு கண்கள். சரியா நீ கவலை படாமல் இரு. இப்பொழுது கிளம்புங்கள்" என்றார்.
அதிரதனும் வைத்தியரும் அவர்களிடம் விடைபெற்று கிளம்பினார்கள்.
அடுத்து வந்த மூன்று நாட்கள் திட்டமிட்டபடி கழிந்தன. அபிக்கு ஆபத்தான மாற்றம் ஏதும் நிகழவில்லை. அதிரதன் அலைபேசி வழியே விசாரித்து கொண்டு இருந்தான்.
"யாரோ பின் தொடர்ந்து வருவதாக வைத்தியர் சொன்னாரே.. அப்படி யாரையும் பார்த்தாயா?" க்ருபா கேட்டார்.
"அப்படி யாரும் எனக்கு தெரிந்து இல்லை. வைத்திமரின் முன்னெச்சரிக்கை யூகமாக இருக்கலாம்."
"இருந்தாலும் கவனமாக இரு"
இருந்திருக்கணும்… ஒரு சிறிய அலட்சியம் விபரீதமானது…
